Pronouns: She/Her

Terri is 56 years old and has lived in Kamloops for 40 years. She is happily married to her wife, Vessy, and has 3 grown children, a teen stepdaughter and 5 grandkids. Terri loves being outdoors year round, hiking, paddling, snowshoeing and loves yoga. She also loves adventure travel and experiencing other cultures. Terri is passionate about food and good wine!

She can't live without her wife and family, good coffee and good wine, and her amazing group of friends.  She feels blessed to be surrounded by positive, energetic and fun people who fill her life with adventures and laughter.

Terri can't pick just one favourite thing about Kamloops.  She loves the four seasons and all of the beauty in nature that surrounds us. The rivers, lakes, hiking trails and mountains, included!  She is a fan of the local theatre program and the symphony, wineries and the amazing local restaurants when she needs a night off from cooking - or when it’s her wife’s night to cook!

To Terri, Pride is simply proud of who you are, being true to yourself and being able to stand up and say “this is who I am” and be truly happy with that! She is proud to be out in the community, working, living, loving and standing up for those who may still be struggling to find where they fit. Terri believes when we stand up and stand out we give others permission to do the same.
