KQFF: Kamloops Queer Film Festival

The Kamloops Queer Film Festival is back for its second annual celebration! The Kamloops Film Society and Kamloops Pride are bringing you 2 weekends packed with queer cinema.​

Come and join us at a new location each month for appies, drinks, and mingling! This pub night is at rotating venues each month and is 19+ only. Attendance is free, but guests are responsible for their own bills. Allies are welcome and encouraged!

Kamloops Museum & Archives
Looking to ​make new friends and find community? Join us at Kamloops Museum & Archives on the first Saturday of the month from 1:30-3:30pm! We will have board games, light snacks, and conversation. Feel free to bring your favourite game or activity to share.

This is a free all-ages event. Please avoid bringing in common allergens (foods, scents).
​
You can find us on the lower floor of KMA. There are stairs or an elevator.

Every Saturday at the Kamloops Farmers Market
Calling all LGBTQPIA+ artisans and vendors! We want to feature YOU! Whether you create art, crafts, offer unique services, or create in any other way, we'd love to have you join us at the Kamloops Pride booth at the Farmers Market on Saturdays throughout the summer.

The Kamloops Pride Choir is back! This group meets every Tuesday evening. All ages, all voices, and all skill levels are welcome. Allies are welcome and encouraged!​​​​

Music of the Night: The Concert Tour
A Concert Celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber' Greatest Hits. From the creators and producers of A Whole New World - recently in Kamloops this past June! This concert celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber returns to Kamloops (last here in Spring '22) after having since toured across Canada to sold out audiences from Victoria to Montreal!​

2SLGBTQ+ Shopping Nights
Date: second Tuesday monthly
Time: 4:00pm-7:00pm
Kamloops United Church Thrift Shop
Those who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and are looking for a safe and judgement-free environment to explore their gender expression and style are welcome to join us! All volunteers will be hand-selected allies and/or members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. There will be assistance available for those who join to find the style that enhances their confidence while offering connections to resources and assistance with their journey. We will also be playing some great music and the KUC Thrift Shop always has affordable prices!

Rebellious Unicorns
Various Events
Founded in 2017, Rebellious Unicorns is a 100% 2SLGBTQ+ owned events, broadcasting and media production company, dedicated to leading positive change in the Okanagan and curating inclusive events, experiences, and programming that bring people together. Rebellious Unicorns has produced a variety of in-person events for the 2SLGBTQ+ community and allies, including the drag-focused extravaganza, FruitCake, and the business social, the MX. One of RUPC’s signature events, Peak Pride, is a winter pride festival held at mountain resorts in BC such as Big White, SilverStar, Sun Peaks, and RED Mountain Resort, attracting hundreds of attendees from Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
