About the Performers
Ilona Verley (she/her, they/them) As seen on Canada's Drag Race S1 Ilona Verley is a 2 spirit Trans drag artist hailing from Skuppah First Nations in Lytton. Ilona has used their platform to advocate for indigenous voices across turtle island, named one of Out Magazine's most influential queer voices for 2020 & featured in Vogue for their activism, Ilona always strives to put her communities at the forefront, using their drag as a vessel to steer main stream attention to important issues facing indigenous people globally!
Alma Bitches (she/they) One of Vancouver’s most recognizable performers; Alma Bitches enjoys the privilege of hosting two weekly drag shows on Davie Street as well as numerous monthly and quarterly events around the city. Known for their off-the-cuff wit Alma has become one of Vancouver’s top drag hosts! Alma’s a proud Canadian queen, but that hasn’t stopped them from making appearances all over North America including San Francisco, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Chicago and Brooklyn where Alma was a part of the world renowned Bushwig festival. Even with all of these gigs Alma still finds time to give back as a drag artist. In March 2019 Alma became the 48th elected Emprex of Vancouver’s Dogwood Monarchist Society; dedicating a year of their life to local fundraising efforts! Alma has been active in the drag scene since 2010 when they began their journey as Sister Alma Bitches of the Vancouver Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
Justin Abit (he/him) is a Vancouver-adjacent debonair Drag King! He won King of Hearts 2020 at his debut, then became Mr. Gay Vancouver 41 and 42! He's been an Imperial Crown Prince in Vancouver for two years to continue his service to the community, and THEN was in the top 5 in season 2 of Call Me Mother on Out TV. Justin is a show-stopping heartbreaker with sizable… swagger, doing it all ‘a bit’ with class, charm and an abundance of sparkle.
Hollie Woods (she/her, he/him) Introducing Hollie Woods - the reigning queen of style and sass! With her dazzling charisma and glamorous flair, she's sure to leave you wanting more. Hailing from Kamloops and the Shuswap, this local gem is ready to serve up some serious attitude! So what are you waiting for? Come and get it! Xo, Hollie
