Trans Lifeline is a new Transgender Crisis Hotline, which has recently opened up a toll-free line in Canada. Their goal is to assist anyone who may be struggling with their gender identity and connect them with services that can assist them in their journey.

The Hatchery: Specialty Medical Services Co-Operative
The Hatchery is a gender-affirming care clinic which offers transition-related medical care for those who have a medical aspect to their transition (primarily those seeking or considering hormone replacement therapy or surgical assessment and referral). We take referrals from other physicians and also accept self-referral for those who don't have a family doctor or aren't comfortable asking them for a referral.

Okanagan Thompson Legal Clinic (Free Clinic)
We provide advocacy services for family law matters including child support, spousal support, and separation agreements, property and debt, and support through family court. Other services include poverty law matters including residential tenancy issues, disability benefits, debt and consumer law, and employment law. The clinic DOES NOT help with criminal law, personal injury, real estate, or estate documents.

Lizzy's Closet (Kamloops Elizabeth Fry Society)
Lizzy's Closet offers FREE clothing for women in need within the Kamloops community. Lizzy's Closet will be open every Monday from 10 AM to 2 PM. It provides a dedicated space equipped with volunteers to assist women, a fitting room, a diverse range of seasonal wear, business attire, as well as essential items such as period products and various accessories including jewelry, purses, and scarves.

The Kamloops Self Advocate
Our goal is to spread awareness about what we can do, not what we can’t do. We highlight different themes in the newsletter and include ideas about different topics every month. Recreation and leisure are important to us, as well as social issues that affect our diverse communities, including Indigenous people as well as the LGBTQ2+ community. We also promote different causes and things happening in the disability field.

Men's Health Initiative (MHI)
The Men’s Health Initiative’s main goal is to increase supportive, community-based networks for guys-who-like-guys within Interior BC while raising attention to their health care needs and concerns. This includes, but not limited to: asexual, bisexual, cis, curious, gay, male, non-binary, queer, questioning, straight, trans, two-spirit, and all other guys-who-like-guys.

Health Initiative for Men (HIM)
HIM is a nonprofit society that aims to strengthen the health and well-being in communities of self-identified GBQ men and gender diverse people in BC. We offer a full spectrum of health-based programming and services to meet the sexual, mental, physical and social health needs of communities of self-identified GBQ men and gender diverse people in BC.

HIM, the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC), and Interior Health are running a pilot program to help eligible individuals in the Interior access PrEP without a local doctor/prescriber.

Kamloops Pride TRU Bursary
Provides two awards annually to students who demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to a member of the 2SLGBTQPIA+ community, who has performed at least three hours of volunteer work with an 2SLGBTQPIA+ organization (Kamloops Pride, TRUSU Pride, etc) within the last year.
